Expert tasting note: “Deep, dark & virtually opaque ruby red color. The rather closed aromas show a structured rather than ripe, dark fruit. Delicate cassis flavors are lively on the palate. There is good structure & the fruit opens nicely with the oak & the drying tannins to display ripe liquorice favours that last well. Acid is lovely & fresh & the alcohol is well in balance.
